About

Anaïs Felicitas Scheel, born in 1997 in Berlin, is a circus performer and circus pedagogue. She graduated from former circus school Die ETAGE and Seneca Intensiv in September 2023, specializing in aerial silks, ball juggling being her second discipline.

Taking the Stage

Following her childhood dream of flying in the silks, she started training in Berlin’s youth circuses at the age of 11 and has held on to her passion for the circus arts ever since.

As part of former youth ensemble You n’ Me, she discovered the joy of creating in groups. She has performed in various ensemble shows, at galas, competitions and festivals.

Focusing on her solo aerial acts, she made the 1st place at the 1st Aerial Championship in Kalamata, Greece, and performed at the 2nd Newcomer Festival Berlin and at the Inselleuchten Festival in Marienwerder.

In the graduation show „MEANDER“, developed with her classmates and with support of choreographer Tomer Zirkilevich, she entered stage with two solo acts and in numerous group choreographies.

Creating from the Heart

Her contemporary acts aim at conveying a piece of honesty along with the piece of art. Anaïs finds her inspiration within the rhythms of musical sounds and silences, within the rhythms of solo work and group creation, of self-reflection and connecting with others.

Sharing Knots and Drops

Eager to pass on knowledge both techniques and creative learning methods, Anaïs is experienced in teaching aerial silks for people of all ages and of different levels.

Her work as circus pedagogue has led her to join the team of a circus therapy project, dedicated to sharing the inclusive power of the circus arts.
